My sister's wedding present is finished. And it came out beautifully, IMHO.

I also am doing two Mareley's Ghost Scarf. One will be a scarf for my friend. The other will actually be a belt for me.





Christmas Gift #1 is coming along well. I can't post pictures since it will give away who it's intended for. I'm ready to start #2 of 7 gifts. And that number will probably increase as I get inspired.

The frustrating thing about knitting Christmas presents is not being able to share the in progress pictures...

I'm becoming a bag lady.

I've finished two bags this week. One of them is Mary's Summer Bag, which I rechristened my Schlepping Bag since I'll be using it to schlep around my books and knitting supplies. I'm happy with how it turned out over all, but I would hesitate before making the large bag again. Maybe I'd do one in the small version





The other one is a little bag I'll probably use for storing dice or small knitting knicknacks. It's based off the Cthulhu Dice Bag pattern, and I did it to stash bust and teach myself how to use double pointed needles to knit in the round. I'll knit a second one with the Great Old One later on probably.

Rainbow Alien Illusion Scarf is finished

This was requested by a friend after I showed her an in progress picture of my green Alien Illusion Scarf.

Because I never seem to be able to have less than four projects going at one time, I have started Mary's Large Summer Bag. This is my first project that I've a) worked in the round, b) used a lace like pattern for, c) knitted using 2 strands, and d) had to pick up stitches on. In retrospect, I should have used an easier pattern.

But I'm forging on, and completed the second set of the pattern. I just wish I could figure out why I'm dropping stitches so I can prevent it. I've knitted about 9 sets of the pattern backwards by now undoing my mistakes

Finished Objects!

I finished two scarves today. And by finished I mean that I had finished the actual knitting about a week or two ago. I had the chance to add the fringe today. So without further ado, I present -
