Vultures and knitting.
Yeah, those are two things you'd never think would go together.
Well, in Little Dee by Chris Baldwin, they do. Prime example - Vachel's comments on struggling for a sweater. Plus you have to love a guy who writes a sea shanty about knitting.

Finished Object - Wolfie
I finished one more project, a wolf based on the Husky in World of Knitted Toys.
I had the hardest time finding safety eyes. I didn't want to spend $5 in postage for a $0.69 part. But every major chain, and a few independent craft store I checked didn't have any. So I ended up having to mail order them anyway. But the wait was worth it. :)

Finished Object - Moose on the Loose
This Moose on the Loose is intended for a friend who collects moose. However he's so cute, I'm tempted to keep him for myself.
Finished Object - Marley's Ghost
I showed a friend Marley's Ghost telling her that I was going to make it as a long scarf or a belt. She said she wanted one. So guess whose was finished first? ;)
Finished Object - Extermiknit!
The friend I knit the TARDIS for kept joking that I should make her a Dalek to go along with it. Little did she know I was already working on Extermiknit for her birthday.
Now she's hinting she wants a Doctor.

Finished Object - Benetar
About two years ago, I began playing Guitar Hero. I don't claim to be that good at it though, but I really do enjoy letting my Inner Rock Goddess out to play.
So I had to make a Benetar from New Knits on the Block: A Guide to Knitting What Kids Really Wantfor myself.
